Great scope!!
Overall i would say this is a great scope for the price. You might as well forget about using the 8 C-size batteries because they dont last long. I would advise anyone with a go-to scope to buy a battery tank for the field and ac adapter if you will be close to an outside electric socket. I will be keeping this Meade for a long time.
Pros: Crystal clear optics,great at tracking the objects,not to heavy.
Cons: large central obstruction,the 8 C-size batteries are too weak for this scope.

I have had the Meade LT-6 out several times with members of our club and have found this to be a fantastic scope. Mead did it right with this scope. I would recommend this scope to a friend without hesitation.
Pros: Stable platform, great optics, metal gears, accureate goto.
