ar15/ar9 conversion works great

Have no issues with this working with my build. Works better with my build using the Endo mags than the Exo mags. Less breakin and worked with 0 hiccups.. shipped fast and a great price.. would buy again.. get em if you see em in stock. They go fast.. optics planet for the win!! Thanks.

Costant Failure to feed, this magazine is the problem, not the solution

Magazine uses a double stack design for rounds inserted. Followed endomag break in procedure and found no excessive contact when inserted. Every single round that is fed from the right side, looking down from top of mag, stops in place and does not reach the barrel feed cone. Scars left on the magazine show round is jamming up against the side and bottom of the magazine where the feed ramp begins. Would be great if it worked, sadly it doesn’t

Had to purchase this for a featured ar9 build. Used this mag with armag block and king pin and a PSA upper. Limited to 10 rds in Commifornia. I didn’t get a chance to put too many rounds through it but the mags worked flawlessly.
Pros:
  • Looks of normal at mag when keeping complyant
  • has the looks and feel of a normal ar mag when keeping compliant
Cons:
  • price
Best Used for:
  • Ar9 that use standard mags

FREAKING AMAZING PRODUCT!!!(get a compatible bolt FIRST!)

I bought these because i do not like the look of Glock Mags in an AR. It arrived and it would only cycle from the left side. I was disappointed. I called MEAN ARMS and the guy (Tom) called me right back in like 5 min. Asked me to send pix of the bolt. I did. Next day his engineer emailed me and said the bolt i had was old PSA design. Said to get the FAXON. It arrived today. Chsnged out the bomt and went to the range. All i can say is my homebuild shoots better than my Sig. Totally worth it.

I bought one of these instead of a mag block for a PCC build and I’m so happy I did. I’ve bought more since and they run flawlessly after the appropriate break in. Just follow the instructions and they work great.

Half the mags work

I bought 2 of these mags. One came with an ejector and one with out an ejector. The one with and ejector works great. The one without an ejector doesn't work at all. I returned the one with out an ejector for a replacement but still haven't received it.
Pros:
  • Works great for a 9mm build in CA.
Cons:
  • Half of them don't come with ejector.
Best Used for:
  • 9mm build without mag block/dedicated lower.

Unsure as of right now

I was at first very happy with this product. It sure does look well built in looks and material they used. Outside of the mag seems very durable. But yesterday the ejector started interfering with my BCG only after approximately 50 rounds through it. If Meanarms comes through with a replacement I’d be very pleased and give this another go-round in my AR9 but if not it looks like I’ll be going with a magwell insert and pistol mags.

  • Looks good and makes life easier
Cons:
  • Flimsy ejector
Best Used for:
  • Multi cal AR
