The MEC charge bar fits well and functions smoothly in my MEC 600 Jr. The fixed shot drop measure is accurate for lead shot sizes between #8 and #6, (drops heavy on #9 shot and light on #4 shot). This MEC charge bar accepts the standard MEC powder bushings, be certain to use these bushings in conjunction with an accurate powder scale because powder drops can vary from MEC bushing chart by more than +/- one full grain. Be prepared to bracket around your bushing choice until you find the correct powder drop. If you load a variety of powders or shot weights consider the universal charge bar, also available from Optics Planet, you'll save money in the long run.
