Magazine feels like quality but doesn't drop when released

by Z, Verified Owner from KY, United States Written on August 25, 2025
Seems great and all, but unless it's fully loaded it doesn't free even close. Really wish I still had my OEM mag. Nicer base plate on the original as well.

Magazine ejection, sticky release

by Raymond, Verified Owner from MT, United States Written on January 15, 2025
Does not freely eject. On pressing magazine release, magazine will drop an inch or two and hang at that level.

Great mag for shadow 2 compact

by Billy, Verified Owner from FL, United States Written on January 14, 2025
I got these magazines for my shadow 2 compact and was impressed with the fit and finish. The mag plate actually fits better (more ergonomic) than the original Cz magazines. Highly recommend for the price.

Mec-Gar CZ 75 Magazine Good-to-Go

by trendkill, Verified Owner from PA, United States Written on September 21, 2024
I purchased two Mec-Gar magazines as backups to the OEMs for my Cajunized CZ 75D PCR. I like the 15 round capacity on these magazines versus the OEM. The blue follower makes verifying an empty mag easier as well. The only improvement I would like see is the round count sight holes brought over from the ORM.
Pros:
  • capacity
  • available
Cons:
  • None
Best Used for:
  • EDC
