One EXXXXXCELLENT magazine.
I bought two of these for a new pistol I got for defense purposes. I have always stuck with OEM magazines, paid extra for "reliability factor",...What a waste of money! These MEC-GAR magazines work FLAWLESSLY! These were for a S&W mod 59. I since bought four MEC-GARs for a Colt 1911, again absolutely flawless operation. I HAVE SEEN THE LIGHT!
Almost was a "Five"
Even though it states that this magazine will fit a S&W 910, it would not lock up when inserted in my 910. I had to open the notch with a file a bit more for the latch to catch and hold it in place as the gun cycled. Other than that, it was a good buy!!!

Worse than originals, better than promag
I bought 4 of these for a 915 that was in excellent condition. The finish on the magazines is great and the plastic base/limiters are really solid. The magazines definitely need to be broken in. They won't seat without a very firm slam. I would not recommend these for any serious use unless you really wear them in. If you are not in a hicap ban state like me, definitely expend the extra time/money for original mags.
