First Meopta
The optics on this scope are comparable to all the higher end scopes. The higher end leupold scopes and the meostar scopes are about equal in light gathering, brightness, and clarity. I love the scope. My only regard was not buying the illuminated reticle model. Great scope. I would buy this scope before i spent the money on a swarvorski or zeiss.
Meoptia meostar 3-12x56 R1 scope
I have a Zeiss Davori, Kahles, and swarvoski 56mm rifle scopes. I have 2 Meoptia Meostar R1 56mm scope. For the money, the Meoptia is the best scope on the market..all the 56mm scopes I own have 30mm tubes. I understand the newer Meoptia Meostar scopes have a great lens coating system, with 99.8% light transmission.
Pros:
- Cost, light transmission, weight, and clarity
Cons:
- None
Best Used for:
- hunting
Would recommend: Yes

Meopta 3x12x56 FIRST focal plane
Great scope for the evening hunts. If you can see it with your binoculars you can see the cross hairs on it. Best hunting scope value I have found. The scope was exactly as represented and was delivered exactly as promised. Searched hard and optics planet was where I found the best price and knowledgeable staffing to answer questions.
Pros:
- Great light gathering
Cons:
- Not the ultimate in accuracy but very good for hunting applications.
