Was not expecting this...
I consider myself an avid hunter. I have been very fortunate to try many companies over the years and I have been very loyal to Leupold. Scopes, binoculars you name it. With so many options on the market today it can be hard to choose which one to buy. But, after having an extraordinary opportunity to use this scope on a hunt in Florida I was blown away. Not only are these products extremely easy to use, the mount is very solid. The clarity and quality on this scope is phenomenal, and second to none. I will be switching all of my equipment over to Meopta.
Hidden Gem
These are really great scopes. I've owned dozens of scopes (Nightforce, Steiner, Trijicon etc) and I do appreciate quality glass.
It's a very versatile scope, I use this in 3-Gun competition as well as just precision shooting at the range. The glass is clear and crisp. I tend to turn the reticle off when shooting targets for precision and turn it on for competition. It's just as good and fast as a red dot. Battery life is great (had the scope a couple of years now and never needed to change the battery). Living in the Northwest, it's also nice having a scope that's rated as waterproof. Definitely an option to consider if you are looking for a new scope

Good purchase
I have a few variable 1-4 optics in the $600-$1200 range. The ZD is my favorite. Optics are clear and bright, fast on 1x. Almost as fast as an Aimpoint Micro for me. Reticle is very usable and visible in all lighting conditions. As a personal preference, i like the reticle color better than all the others i have.\r\nCapped turrets work well for my \\\'set and forget\\\' style. Decent dimensions and weight, seems sturdy enough to withstand quite a bit of punishment. All in all, a very good value.
