Most Helpful Negative Review Too tall and too difficult to install.
This sight was very difficult to install and when screwed all the way down, it was still too tall for my application. Not very bright at night and nearly invisible in daylight. I’d return it but I don’t have the time or patience to take it off!

No adjustment tool

Sight looks good but can't find an adjustment tool to fit. Regular 5 pin will not work because sight us square and will not fit inside regular tool.chevked "Meprosight" web site. No tool listed.

these need tall detents/threads

I bought two of these front sights, and im not sure where to buy two tall detents so the top doesnt keeo spinning round and round. I feel this is a known design flaw and did not include these required detents. Im now out 60$ i would include pictures if what i recieved because the two sights are not what is pictured

Ruger SR762

The sight pin fit fine in my factory flip up sight. It is bright enough to see at night with my I Inforce 800 lumen light on. The only reason for 4 stars is because there is no alignment detent under the front of the dot, I had to mount the front sight backwards so the dot would be facing me. Not a big deal, I'll be sighting it in soon and update my review if there is anything adverse to mounting the front sight backwards.

  • good quality
  • Comes with extended detent pin
Cons:
  • Needs detent under the dot.
Best Used for:
  • AR front sight.
