Very poor for indoor use. - Meprolight M22 Rifle Sight

I really like the look and feel of this sight, however I ended up returning it. I bought it for use on a home defense weapon and found that it performed very badly in almost all areas of my home for visibility of the reticle even compared to my 2 M21s which were already kinda middle for interior use scenarios. Outside, this site is fantastic in the day time but I did not check it at night or dusk/dawn. Maybe I have too many windows in my house so the reticle just can't gather enough light to overpower the sunlight coming to my eye's from the windows as I swing it around various areas of my home. Even at night in the house with lights on, the sight simply struggled way too much to keep a barely visible reticle going. I'm hoping that I didn't just get a bad one and couldn't realize it wasn't connected properly inside because it was my first time using it. Either way I will not be purchasing another of these M22s. Hopefully this right up wasn't too erratic and can help others out in making their purchasing decision.
