Makes a light carbine feel heavier than you would think
Don't get the "X" dot. Enough said.
The carry handle mount is heavy and makes the rifle front heavy. The screw/lever carry handle tightening thing lacks a locking mechanism and is easily cought on webbing. Only worth it for my idf repro goals but a little disappointed it's not more sorted.
Great solution to fixed handle AR15
This Mepro red dot scope and mount give you a great solution to iron sight only AR’s. The mount secured the dot to the rifle without an issue. It also allows the optic to co-witness with the iron sights . I have not taken this rig to the range yet due to the weather, it appears that there will be no issues with sighting in. I believe that this will be a very fast combo to use. VERY pleased so far. 4 stars only because I have not been to the range.

my DOE build
I am very happy with this optic it fits my package.I put it on my h&r DOE pistol and it looks hot. I did add the Rem 21 aluiminator witch works great.

Excellent carry optic for your C7 upper or M16A1
An excellently built optic with built in tritium and fiber optic sight. The blue tint helps with finding the reticle in indoor lighting conditions and in daylight. Granted the optic will not be useable if the source of the light is in front of you and you are in a dark room. An optional device is able to purchase to aid with adding a LED unit to it in these cases.
