I have never been disappointed with a meprolight product and this holds up to that statement

For a 1200 dollar sight you would think it would work. This is the second one I have gotten and neither of them have worked. The tritium is dead. The fiber optic dosnt work. When on battery to get the dot bright enough to see it has to be on full power and there is a hallo around the dot so distracting it makes the sight unusable. I wish I had better things to say as I have another one I bought a year ago and I really like. It's to bad
Best Used for:
- Tachticool not for shooting

As you might expect, this sight is not the best at any one thing, but is a very compelling package with everything combined. Trijicons may have a better light collection and optics, Eotech may have better reticles, Holosun / Sig may have clever instant-on activation and ambient light sensors, but none offer a package this well put together - and running on AA batteries. I only wish they offered a triangle reticle like M21, but hey!

To me Mor Pro is the best Meprolight has to offer at the moment, and it's very compelling in general. As you would expect, the jack of all trades sight may not be the best in any one thing - fiber optic Trijicons may have better light collection, Eotech may have a better reticle, Holosun / Sig may offer instant-on motion activation, ambient light sensors, etc. But as a single package to fiber, LED and lasers, I cannot really complain. Outside the light collection is very adequate, and the green tinted lense makes reticle stand out more. Inside you will lose the reticle going off tritium and aiming into a light, but the switch is easy to flick and the LED is bright. Lasers are solid and no need to zero separately. Redundant batteries. Solid quick detach. My only wishes would be to offer a triangle reticle like the M21, and also would be nice to get the flash cover in the package... but hey!
Pros:
- Easy to install
- well made
- Easy to operate
- AA Batteries
- all in one package
- Always on, ready to go
- redundant batteries
Cons:
- Large
- tritium illumination only suitable for night time
- some light pollution from the muzzle end

The sight arrived without any working tritium. The team at MEPRO was helpful in confirming that the tritium was indeed non-functional, and RMA'd it free of charge. Now all functions work well. The IR and visible lasers and battery-powered reticle are all definitely bright enough for easy target acquisition. The fiber optic reticle and tritium reticle are both dimmer than expected but probably functional if needed. The tritium powered reticle was not tested with NODs, so it might be perfect for that application.

You get what you pay for. I wanted an integrated laser (VIS/IR) and 1x red dot integrated for my AR and avoid having separate accessories and this did not disappoint. I love that it has triple redundancy and the IR is super bright even at 100+ meters with my gen3 white phosphor.
Pros:
- Solid build quality and integrated
Cons:
- Halo if you turn the brightness up too much
Best Used for:
- Replacing iron sights with something just as reliable
