Advice, stay away from - Meprolight MPO PRO-S 1x 0.78x0.60in Reflex Red Dot Sight

Purchased one of these for a HK CC9 for EDC, first one the thing would not work when you cycled to auto brightness mode, the dot would just hang at a lower level no matter the ambient lighting, then it started flickering in that mode, in manual mode the dot worked as it should.
The whole reason for the purchase was the auto brightness, so got the second one after getting an RMA and sending it back, well the second one will not do auto brightness either, it gets stuck on mid brightness and doesn’t change at all, complete darkness and it’s doesn’t dim.
Contacted customer service, they said that it was working normally that it worked so fast the human eye couldn’t detect it, like huh?
In a complete dark room it doesn’t dim, and the human eye can detect that. And also said if using night vision the sight doesn’t know if you are, wait you’re in complete darkness and it doesn’t know, at least he wasn’t lying about that.
Merritt Burton is the genius customer service rep who will wind up costing Meprolight lots of money.
My advice, stay far away from this sight, their rifle sights are great but this sight is junk.
