The Meprolight sights were purchase to replace the stock Taurus PT1911 sights. They are easier to see and aim. They are easy to install requiring a minimal amount of filing to fit well. Like the original Taurus sights they shoot low with a six o'clock hold. Overall they are an improvement over the stock sights.
Pros: Easy to install good visibility
Cons: Shoots below point of aim
