Most Helpful Positive Review Meprolight Night Sights for Taurus PT1911 .45
The Meprolight sights were purchase to replace the stock Taurus PT1911 sights. They are easier to see and aim. They are easy to install requiring a minimal amount of filing to fit well. Like the original Taurus sights they shoot low with a six o'clock hold. Overall they are an improvement over the stock sights. Pros: Easy to install good visibility Cons: Shoots below point of aim

This is like a much have. Installed them myself with out to much problem. Maybe not something many would be able to do.

Now I can see in the dark

I put these on my Taurus PT145 and they fix perfectly. If you have a vise and a nice set of brass punches, these are pretty easy to install and they are a very nice addition to any gun.
Pros: Good fit, good light output, fits PT145
Cons: what's not to love?
Would recommend: Yes
