Good product - perfect fit! - Meprolight Remington R1 Tru-Dot Night Sights

I have been using my Remington R1 for several years and always wanted to get new sight, especially an adjustable rear. Over-the-counter choices are limited. I looked into the cost of custom work by Novak and it was fair, but a bit (just under $300) more than I wanted to spend. I know Mepro makes good stuff, so when I came across this sight set, I decided I would give it a try. While I haven't been a fan of tritium sights in general, they *are* superb for night use, and the nice big whitish dots on this set work great in daylight. I had them installed by my gunsmith who said they fit really well and he didn't have any trouble getting them in and lined up/set correctly. I haven't tried them yet, but my laser bore sight tells me they should work well!
