Good product - perfect fit!
I have been using my Remington R1 for several years and always wanted to get new sight, especially an adjustable rear. Over-the-counter choices are limited. I looked into the cost of custom work by Novak and it was fair, but a bit (just under $300) more than I wanted to spend. I know Mepro makes good stuff, so when I came across this sight set, I decided I would give it a try. While I haven't been a fan of tritium sights in general, they *are* superb for night use, and the nice big whitish dots on this set work great in daylight. Bad Sight- Will not fit in the dovetail of my Remington R1
I tried to put these sights on my Remington R1. The rear sight fit well. The front sight would not fit the dovetail of my Remington R1. I measured the dovetail with calipers and the Meprolight is several thousands of an inch larger than original. I can't use them!

Fantastic sights for 1911
Great night sights. Fits great and shines brightly at night. Price was very reasonable also. Also it seems that the sights are more accurately regulated to point of aim than factory sights. That’s a win win situation.�
