Meprolight Optimized Duty Sight
I know one of the designers of this sight. It's the best night sight I've ever used. It's a good daytime sight also which is usually not the case. You can get combat hits very fast. To get precision shots you have to focus intensely on the edges of the sight not the horizontal lines on the rear sight or the dot on the front. I put this sight on a Sig P226. It required minor fitting. On this particular sight the the triangle cut in the rear sight has been deleted. I love this feature and am disappointed it's not present on this sight. Great sight
I received this night sight and immediately placed it on my Sig P226 (made in Germany) After using a Bore Sight to align, I used my DriFire system and hit the 2 inch bullseye 95% of the time from 15 yards. Highly recommended as aligning the sight to shoot leave no guessing but total accuracy.

Value for the price. I do wish the dots glowed brighter, but these do the job. I adjusted the sights at the range and am pleased with their function. . .
