Perfect Duty Red Dot
I’ve been running the Tru‑Vision SR on my duty rifle for months now, and it has held zero through both full auto drills and harsh handling. The dots (Speed Ring or 2 MOA) are bright, crisp, and usable without having to squint. The auto‑brightness transitions are smooth; going from shade into bright sun is seamless.
Confident in Real‑World Conditions
I put the Tru‑Vision SR through cold, windy field conditions and it never wavered, gave a clear sight picture and retained zero. The selectable speed‑ring reticle, Switching into night‑vision mode took a few seconds, but once active, the dot dims appropriately. The unconventional form factor takes some getting used to, but performance-wise it checks the boxes.

Compact, Fast, and Accurate
I just got the Tru‑Vision SR from OP and ran some rounds over the weekend. I shot 5 rounds at 50 yards and got a tight 1.5″ group right out of the gate. The selectable reticle is a nice touch. The auto brightness transition worked smoothly for me (moving from shadow to open sunlight).

This optic is well made and has some great features. I have it on my Springfield socom 16 and I’m very impressed with it.
