Meprolight USIT Night Sight Installation Tool - 40440
This unit would be best for the gun smith or collector seeking a bullet proof bench mounted sight tool. The 40440 Comes set up for rear sights and the Meprolight Kimber sight pusher adapter 40439 is required for most front sights. The best reason to get this tool is for front sights on 1911s especially the Les Baers. Les Baer 1911 front sights are blind hole pinned and this tool has enough tool contact and pushing force to shear the pins. Worth The Extra Cash
As a gunsmith for the last 10 years I've managed to destroy 3 other sight tools ranging from 80 to 150 dollars. The investment in this one is considerable but after figuring it out and using it on both front and rear sights of various manufacturers I'm convinced that it is the last one needed.

BEST SIGHT TOOL MADE !
My son and I have tried other tools to change the sights on our Kimber Ultra Carry Crimson handguns with very diappointing results. They were not made sturdy enough to handle the ultra tight sights common on Kimber models. This sight tool with proper adapter for specific Kimber sight change makes the change positively proper. This is the best and sturdiest tool on the market. It is pricey but when you see how well built you will understand the price. The tool should be used with patience to properly aling the sight tool and definitely read and folow the instructions and the tool has the engineering and power to install any sight on any 1911 or auto pistol style. I can;t emphasize how well the tool works with proper operation and patience to make sure that everything is properly aligned be fore pressing.
