I bought one to replace my original Ugg boot stock. After receiving some of the machining is poor and I noticed a slight crack in the slider that connects it to the reciever, I didn’t think to much of it at the time and after getting it ready to mount it wouldn’t allow the lower to slide back enough to push the front takedown pin through, I had a aftermarket lower so I tried with the factory one aswell and the same issue occurred. After contacting Mesa Tac. They told me to remove there rubber plates as they weren’t necessary for function but only fit. This still didn’t resolve the issue and I ended up using a dremel on it to make it work. After about 200 rounds at the range the slight crack got bigger to the point I felt unsafe continuing to use it, after getting a replacement because I liked the idea of the mount the replacement came with the exact same issues as the first. Save your money and buy something different.
