Mesa Tactical Rem 870 High-tube Stock Adapter and rail kit
This is a great design. It is well made and very solid. I run this setup on a LE issued Rem 870 Police 12GA. The rail must be used with an added sight. This is good for a red dot or optic but arguably too short for BUIS since it runs the same length as the receiver. My receiver is not drilled & tapped but the rail is still secured to the adapter. I added a Geissele Premium buffer tube and it feels stable with no movement. It does add some good weight but you gain so much more by having ambi QD ports on the sides, your choice of any AR-15 grip and adjusting the length of pull for different shooting positions over the fixed stock. The fit and finish are a little rough in some areas for today's standards but it works well.

If you own an 870 Remington this is a absolute must have. Solid construction, perfect fit without any alterations, and includes everything you’ll need to turn your 870 into a true tactical shotgun. I found here at OpticsPlanet everything I needed to update the look and performance of my Remington 870. I strongly recommend the Mesa adapter with rail for your 870 Remington shotgun.
