I have a Kimber 9 MM 1911 which is designed for 9 round magazines. Kimber did not dress the rear of the barrel to use 10 round magazines. I used machinists dye and very lightly filed the rear of the barrel a little at a time, testing where the areas were that hit the 10 round magazines. After fitting, these Metalform magazines worked great. I normally use Chip McCormick 45 ACP magazines in my Kimber 45. I did try both Wilson and CM 10 round 9MM magazines and these Metalform worked the best for me. 1911 guns in 9MM can be finicky and especially Kimbers, I understand. I’m glad these worked for me. Also the price on these as a comparison, didn’t break the bank.
