Most Helpful Negative Review Ok product, but no with standard "thin" headguards
This product did not work "as is" with the thin heat shield on my Ruger AR-556 rifle. I had to add a rubber "shim" on the flat portion of the rail to take up slack so that the screws would tighten down. That's ok, and the product was usable, but buyers intending to use this rail on a think heat shield should be forewarned. Otherwise the product worked as expected and was reasonably priced.

Works great, With a little fine tuning.

The piece arrived much quicker than expected, Especially after reading reviews about the site. Over all the piece worked great though like others it was slightly thicker than my factory guards. Simple solution was to use a fine grain sand paper to lower the plastic till it was just below flush with my guards. I also had to do a little sanding on the edges it get it to sit properly into the groove. Now the piece fits nice and snug and I haven't noticed any slippage, yet. The instructions state to remove the heat shield so not sure why one review says you shouldn't.

MFT E-VolV Picatinny Rail 2.205 inch

I installed this Rail on the fore end of a Remington 11-87 Shotgun 12 ga. and it just works perfect! I use it with a Green flashlight with a picatinny Ring and is very steady. Very good for Wild Hog Night Hunting.
Pros: Very light and steady.
Cons: None

It works nice, easy to install the only thing I do not like was the fact that the screw goes through the heat shield instead of just through the hand guard
