Very solid sight pushing tool - MGW Armory Sight-Pro Compact Sight Tool

After looking at something like 8 different sight pusher tools on Amazon (my mistake for wasting my time), I stumbled upon this tool by MGW Armory. After finally taking a chance and buying this tool, I can say without a doubt that it is a one-stop shop for a sight-pushing tool. The machining on this is very well done, no sharp edges, no faulty threads. Everything outside the plates that hold the frame in place is metal; the plates are made of non-marring plastic and include sacrificial pads. It comes with two block pushers: one with 90-degree edges and the other with an angled bevel. They offer different blocks as needed (you most likely won't need them, but they can be nice to have).

Yes, you can get away with not buying the slide adapter shoes, but the manufacturer doesn't recommend using the tool without them; they're only ~14 bucks and provide additional support when dealing with those stuck factory iron sights. Without the shoes, you're relying on plastic to hold the slide in place; I doubt the plastic will hold up against stuck irons.

Spend a little to save money from fronting the gunsmiths' ridiculous service rates.
