After looking at something like 8 different sight pusher tools on Amazon (my mistake for wasting my time), I stumbled upon this tool by MGW Armory. After finally taking a chance and buying this tool, I can say without a doubt that it is a one-stop shop for a sight-pushing tool. The machining on this is very well done, no sharp edges, no faulty threads. Everything outside the plates that hold the frame in place is metal; the plates are made of non-marring plastic and include sacrificial pads. It comes with two block pushers: one with 90-degree edges and the other with an angled bevel. They offer different blocks as needed (you most likely won't need them, but they can be nice to have).

Yes, you can get away with not buying the slide adapter shoes, but the manufacturer doesn't recommend using the tool without them; they're only ~14 bucks and provide additional support when dealing with those stuck factory iron sights. Without the shoes, you're relying on plastic to hold the slide in place; I doubt the plastic will hold up against stuck irons.

Spend a little to save money from fronting the gunsmiths' ridiculous service rates.

Very high quality tool. It's on the expensive side but worth the money IMO.

I have yet to use it, but just by handling it I have no doubt it will work! Just the feel of it, how smooth the differant ajustments are gives me a lot of confidents! Just great American made quality!!

When I received the MGW sight pro my first impression was how well machined it was. I read the supplied directions, i had never pushed sights, and viewed a few videos produced by the company which you can find online. I had an hk that must have taken a hit on the front sight as it was clearly out to the naked eye. It only took two pushes when all was said and done. I plan to replace sights in the near future and this tool will be a great help.

This is a professional sight tool. Not like the cheapies that I’ve had in the past. This thing does require that you buy an adapter for each pistol slide, but they are only 14 bucks each. This thing is a joy to use, and is very, very precise.

New to playing gunsmith, but this thing made it so simple. I feel like a professional already. Worked as designed, watched a couple of videos from MGW and my new sight manufacturer, followed the detailed instructions included with the tool and the instructions that came with my new sights. Made sure to take my time monitoring everything as I went along. Easy to do the swap. The tool is a little pricey, but I feel it is well worth it for the peace of mind. Very well-made, heavy duty tool. Should last a lifetime.

Without a doubt, the MGW Sight-Pro lived up to all the hype.
This was the first time changing out my own sights, and I was a bit worried that I was going to end up regretting not going to a professional GS to have this work done on my Sig P365. So in order to make this as painless as possible, I made the decision to go with what I believed to be the best sight pusher on the market. This was a decision based on many YouTube reviews as well as a history of being around firearms for many years and hearing about this "pusher" quite often during that time.
The excellent price point that Optics Planet offered for the Sight-Pro made this choice an easy one for me.
Build quality and attention to detail is outstanding, and it made the removal of the factory Sig sights much easier than I thought it was going to be.
Would buy again in a heartbeat.

By far the best quality pusher I’ve ever used. I’ve tried about four others and they don’t even come close to the overall quality of the MGW.

This is mother of all out there. It holds slides in solid. Pushes easily and straight. Works on standard and suppressor height sights. I wish I had bought this first and once instead of trying to use a cheaper brand that ruined a rear sight on a 320. If you do a lot of handgun sight swaps, this will pay for itself in no time. The MGW specific for the Glocks is just as solid and much cheaper. The only downfall to this is needing to buy shoes for specific models but that’s part of the game. The shoes are gun model specific so you are not using a universal product that can potentially mar up your slide or damage your new set of sights. If you start with the shoe you need most and buy as you go, it’s not that bad. I had friends buy the shoes and I swapped their sights for the shoes. Locally, if you can find a shop that will swap them, even if you bought the sights from them was 45-60 bucks. A pair of shoes 15-25 usually on sale everywhere so win win.
