DPMS 308/7.62 free float hand guard
I am very pleased with my new hand guard, it is just as advertised, and came with lock tire, and everything needed, even the wrench. I would definitely recommend this to all my friends. It had the instructions on the back, and was easy installed. The delivery was pretty timely and was packaged well. Thank you
Great handguard
This is a nice finish to my 6.5 Creedmoor build. As you know, ar parts re hard to come by right now. OpticsPlanet had the goods
so I was finally able to complete this build. Great service even when parts are scarce.

Quality at a great price point
Lightweight and durable hand guard at a cheap price. Fits an Aero Precision upper perfectly. The attachments screws at the bottom tighten down great. Wish they were integrated and not set below, but works better than expected.

Solid, lightweight AR-10 handguard when choice is limited
Okay this handguard wouldn't be my first or second choice but in this year of extremely limited options, this model turned out to be a pretty nice compromise. It's VERY easy to install and comes with a torque wrench for the included barrel nut. This nut mated with my Aero Precision M5 upper receiver perfectly. The barrel nut does require timing so that the gas tube can fit correctly. Contrary to the other reviewer who said the handguard required fitting, that is not the case. I simply used a pic rail scope mount to line up the receiver and handguard pic rails BEFORE tightening the handguard. This will insure proper alignment. The finish on the handguard is a matte black but it has been applied perfectly. The handguard was a bit dusty upon opening of the package but it easily wiped off. The handguard itself is very lightweight despite the full-length pic rail. It's also very strong. The overall feel is really good and I didn't find any 'sharp' edges on the pic rail. My only negative (which I took off a star) is that the barrel nut is not covered by the rail. In fact, there's a slight gap that exposes the barrel nut -- which is more of a cosmetic issue. That being said, it's an effective design that works to my satisfaction.
Pros:
- Lightweight
- Ease of installation
- Strong
- Excellent fit & finish
Cons:
- Requires Barrel Nut Timing
- Handguard doesn't cover Barrel Nut
Best Used for:
- any

Well made nearly seamless
Nearly perfect fit on my Aero Precision M5 upper. When torqued to the recommended spec the rail is just the smallest hair out of alignment with the upper receivers rail. I don't think most people would notice. Other wise very well made and looks great on my M5 upper lower in 6.5 creedmoor build.
Pros:
- light but solid
Cons:
- fitting required on Aero M5
Best Used for:
- Large builds

308 ar hunting
So far so good: install like it should and looks good. Fit was good was worry about that since I was using a unknown upper that I bought from a small dealer that had a few things brought in for a consignment sale
Pros:
- Seems to do the job
Cons:
- none yet
- none can see
Best Used for:
- hunting

MI Rail Review
I'm very impressed with the overall fit and ease of assembly.
The appearance is very good.
I've installed this on my 6.5 Creedmore and the groups are very tight, thus the overall stiffness is as wanted.
The quality is in line with other more expensive products.
