Most Helpful Positive Review Great rear sight base mount
This is the most solid of the rear sight base mounts I have seen yet. Seems very solid for a small red dot. I would not put a large sight on this type of mount. Great for a mini red dot though.

Outstanding AK optic mount

The Midwest Industries AK Alpha Series Mini Dot Mount Picatinny was simple enough to install on my VSKA rifle with the instructional video provided on the Midwest Industries website. I mounted a Sig Romeo7 red dot to it and it fit the rail ok. Overall very pleased with the mount.

better than attero arms

I’ll start by saying this rear sight mount is overbuilt compared to the attero arms mount but with good reason. I’ve seen other people have issues with the attero arms mount not being able to sit nicely in line with the dust cover and no way to adjust it. This Midwest industries mount has a way to level and center itself on the rear sight block. Also the Picatinny rail sits much lower than the attero arms mount. The built in sight on it will be higher than the regular ak sight set at the 200m mark so the front sight will need adjusting. But overall this has been very solid
