Good to go for yugo - ignore other reviews - install it backwards! - Midwest Industries AK Light & Laser Mount

Other reviews state this is not a Yugo friendly mount without modification - this is incorrect! This will work for both standard and yugo pattern AKs.

Due to the sling loop some users noted they could not install this without shaving off one side - this is NOT necessary! Simply install it backwards! It works exactly the same and no modification is needed when you install the larger side towards the end of the barrel - a little counter intuitive but I have a flashlight mounted and it works flawlessly.

I'm disappointed other reviewers didn't consider this before permanently modifying this part or even worse permanently modifying their AK. Best mod-free laser/light mount if you opt for traditional wood furniture on your AK, Yugo or not!
