Works as advertised. However I wish it were just a hair longer so it was the same length as a standard tang. Using this, the tang sticks past the mount by maybe 1/4inch. Stupid. Doest even work with top MI Stock
As you can guess, it wouldn't be a great idea to cut the tang off any AK just to put an aftermarket stock on and you would buy this item so you wouldn't have to destroy an appreciating AK.
They can get away charging this price for a little piece of metal because they know if you butcher your Bulgy...

It not fit
I must cut the end tail that goes into the sliding hole about .75”. Grind both side is minimal but the top side where it meet my tang is real bad and required to take off like 3/16 to sit flush.

Expensive but great
I bought one of these about a year or so ago and found it to be an outstanding product for my kr103, I liked it so much I bought a second for my wbp 556 jack diy build, as such its amazing on both guns so far. As for right now any other ak I get with the exception of about 2 are going to have this endplate adapter, if you catch it on sale it's an outstanding buy.
Pros:
- Extremely tight and adjustable fit, wide variety optional accessories
Cons:
- I feel like it's on-sale price is more akin to its value, it's not bad prices but slightly expensive. Only other issues is the tang of the rifle may stop some stocks from being mounted all the way up on this endplate but it's still secure
Best Used for:
- Adding a 1913 rail to any ak with a tang

Great adapter for AK with trunnion
Great adapter if you don't want to cut your rear buttstock trunnion. Great quality as always from Midwest industries, but get ready for some fitting, make sure you have a filing set. It's the AK platform, not Midwest Industries fault.

- Might need some fitting due to ak built

- If you want the badass stock from MI, then you need an adapter

Solid, just like everything else MI makes. Get that modern AK look with your classic without destroying your rear trunnion.
