Absolutely recommend! Great quality! Personally I had to do some fitting because I went with a SLR handguard but looks absolutely sick with the gas tube

Great product! Unfortunately did not fit my Century arms VSKA
Outstanding quality for Midwest industries as expected! This gas tube is a 6.5 inch adjustable so it was too long for my VSKA. Optics planets return process was supper simple though! A free return slip was emailed to me and it was back in the mail the next day. Sometimes we pick the wrong parts and optics planet understands that… thanks for the great customer service!

Radio silence
ISK HOW GOOD THE PRODUCT IS, WONT FIT.but the real problem is trying to return it 4 the correct one, i tried the website, my order is missing.so uve called on 3 occasions ,on hold for so long i hung up. Im really jus begining to think im stuck with the wrong product. Ive left messages, no answer..pretty BUMMED.

Fit good, it looks like it’s not level but it’s close. The front sight kind of dictates how level it gets because the front sight puts pressure down on it.

Learning curve
Out of the box it looked pretty straight forward. But leveling the device was a little hard. I spend maybe 40 mins tinkering with it. Make sure you use the thread lok provided. Over all great product and it co-witnesses with a Romeo 5. Love it.

Midwest AK Gas tube on PSA AK-E
Definitely a solid item, but it took a while to fit up correctly, spent 2 hours on it and finally got it to work, even though I want to do 4 stars because of the aggravation and time it took me, but it’s definitely worth the money, and it looks very good

only one small problem…
Lightweight and easy drop in on m85, simple instructions, and just enough pic space (although I wish it had a little more towards the front end) The front end uses two smaller hex screws to lock the nut in place against the front sight/gas tube opening. The placement for those two screws on the bottom is not easy and was impossible for me to screw in as the handguard retainer gets in the way. I dropped a few drops of locktight into the holes and hopefully that can do something, if not I’ll need a special or smaller tool to get those retention screws in.
