Rail does not come close to lateral center - Midwest Industries AK Railed Scope Mount 6.75in. Rail

Raise your rifle and aquire your target. Oh wait. The optics are sitting to the right of your receiver's center. Huh. What? Yes. The picatinny rail on my Midwest Industries AK Railed Scope Mount sits to the right of center on my stamped receiver AK-47. The rail sits so far right of center that its annoying and interrupts my attention when raising the rifle and lining up a shot. The rail sits blatantly to the right of center. Not even close. I shoot right handed and I wouldn't be so annoyed if it sat to the left of center. If you are looking for a product to mount optics on a stamped receiver AK-47, then I cannot recommend this mount. There is zero lateral adjustment with this mount. Other than that, the material and attach/detach mechanism are great. The mount holds zero every time. It just annoys me that the rail sits far to the right of center.
