Very sturdy

Bought this to raise the optic so I dont have to bury my cheek on the stock. Very sturdy once its adjusted and clamped down. Easy to use and remove and holds zero from what use I have had.

I read a lot of the reviews and people say it doesn’t work. To be honest these people must be special individuals. It literally took 2 minutes to install. Not slop and hold zero after 500 rounds through the gun. I would definitely recommend this for anyone interested in mounting an optic on your AK.

Best AK optic mount ever made. PERIOD.

I have tried several optic mounts for the AK platform and no other compares to Midwest Industries in craftsmanship or stability and accuracy. Used a 75 round drum and 1000’s of rounds with no impact to scope accuracy. Secure attachment and continuous zero even after removal of optic mounts for storage. Bought 4 more already…

Optics rail is 3mm off center to the right

Mounted on a PSA AK101 receiver. I have to agree with some of the other reviews on here claiming the rail does not align directly over the center of the reveiver or with the iron sights. Per my measurements its about 3mm off which doesnt sound like alot but as a right handed shooter it throws off my sight acquisition time. The mount itself is sturdy and seems to hold zero perfectly. But it being off center is a distraction.
