No quality control
After months of waiting only to get one with excessive tool marks. Can’t believe I paid retail for blemish quality product and to return this back to OpticsPlanet for a refund or exchange would take another 2 months. Frustrated.

Great little rail for those shorter builds
The Midwest Industries 6 inch Combat Rail is an excellent little handguard (especially for the money when paired with one of OP's frequent discounts). I was looking for a quality 6" rail for a 7.5 300 blk build and this was the best option I could find. Not many "premium" manufacturers even make one under 7-8" (DD does for their PDW but they don't sell it individually). I totally recommend the 6" Combat Rail to anyone looking for a shorter rail.

Installed easily and works well
I removed an older style handguard that was much heavier, and didn't use mlok, and was able to get this one mounted in under 30 minutes. Looks great, measurements are true and it seems straight and true from my using a level and laser to check it out. I mounted a hand grip and buis, also have a sentry 7 adjustable gas block underneath it, and when I took it to the range I didn't have any issues with it touching the gas block, or using the hand grip pulling it or twisting. It's nice a strong and seems durable.
I would have given one more star if the barrel nut was a little bit longer, just seems like it's shorter to save weight, but a bit longer would give more confidence it will remain in place. I torqued everything to spec and it seems rock solid, though.
Time will tell, but so far it's been great and looks good too.

Little Handguard
Needed to replace handguard to fit suppressor on 300blk out saw this midwest Indust 6inch for a great price and jumped on it. Great fast shipping from OP and price was even better through OP then on Midwest web site.

The total length is actually 6 inches as advertised and it locks down on the barrel nut really well. Looks great as well. No blemishes.

Great M-Lok handguard
This is a high quantity product that is just as advertised. I have 3 of these in different lengths and the are as robust as anything on the market, but more reasonably priced through Optics Planet.
