Let me start by saying I am not a precision shooter. I’m self defense oriented. Hitting a steel plate at 1000 yards is cool, but that’s not my thing. That being said, who is going to use this iron sight to shoot 1000 yards? Anyway to the review. I love this combat rifle rear flip up sight by Midwest Industries. It is well made and low profile. better than magpul nbus pro

Ive used the Magpul NBUS PRO for a couple years now and wanted to try something new. This definitely did the trick although i still use it with the Magpul NBUS Pro front sight.

Seems to be well made. Low enough profile to clear magnifiers, When stowed. Very positive detent, no accidental anything. Solid lock up deployed.

midwest Industries, flip up rear sight.

If you would like a quality flip up "back up sight"at a reasonable price, this is a very good way to go. It's quality, small, and has good sight picture. Will tuck under an LPVO very well.

You can get a less expensive sight that will do the job. If you've decided that you want a quality sight, this one is hard to beat. you might pay a little more, but I believe you get more with this sight.

Great back up iron sights

Midwest Industries makes good sights. These are very low profile and less expensive than the Knight Armament rear sights.

This is just great, another win for Midwest Industries. Simple and robust, the peephole is just the right size for me. Flips up and down easily, but locks securely in either position. I will be ordering another!

Low profile

I got this for its low profile and quality. I have a LPVO as the main sight so this low profile back up sight is perfect for my needs. I would need to remove the LPVO to use this iron sight, do currently it has no fiction do I cannot review its effectiveness. The quality in my untrained eye is there and works recommend. It's functionality is there for me to feel confident in relying on it if I had to remove the LPVO. Definitely better than any plastic poo sight.
