Nice upgrade for dpms lr 308 - Midwest Industries DPMS 308 Low Combat Rail M-LOK Handguard

I chose this product in order to upgrade my front hand guards that were the drop-in style on my DPMS LR 308. I’m fairly certain that this was a GEN 1 rifle, with the low profile rear upper. The gas block, was a large contraption with the Piccini rail on the top. I also had to order the new low profile gas block from precision arms (.750) to fit over the barrel and allow for adequate clearance to the new hand guard. This kit comes with everything that you need with the exception of the new gas block. The installation took 15 minutes. Removal of the old Forward hand guard attachments and rear hand guard attachments with barrel nut was simple. I followed the instructions and torqued the new barrel nut 3X to specification of 30 foot pounds. Runs like a top and looks more modern now as well.
