Great gas block
This is the only gas block I use on uppers where the A2 front sight is going to be removed. Because it's a longer gas block, it covers the A2 tapper pin holes and has 3 set screws rather than 2 like most micro gas blocks. The extra set screw is nice. Can't go wrong with this gas block.
Midwest Gas Block
I like the full length of the Midwest Industries gas block. Looks better than a small block on certain barrels that are machined for the longer length blocks. Additional set screws are nice, and the quality of the part is literally second to none. I own many of these, and have nothing but praise for each one of them

low-pro gas block
item is as advertised. I was replacing the A2 and plastic forend on my AR. This allowed for the installation of a full length handguard. Item shipped with fasteners and thread sealant.

MI Low Pro Gas Block .936
Tight fit on my .936" gas journal that is over 1" long. You need to be able to fit up your (3x) set screw holes but that is easy enough with any jig that sets the first hole if you have a vise and drill press.
Pros:
- Ease of insallation
Cons:
- Need tools to install
Best Used for:
- Any & All Builds

Nice product
OK it is a gas block, normally the great price and the fact that it works flawlessly would be enough to put it on your AR but Midwest Industries went the extra mile and made it low profile so it will fit under a slimline handguard easily.

.625 gas block
Perfect tight fit on my 16-inch Faxon Pencil contoured barrel (which unfortunately is not dimpled for the set screws), and the gas block comes with 3 set screws for a more secure installation. Straight forward installation with no issues.

Cover the cuts.
Fantastic gas block for those barrels with the cuts for the A2 gas block pins you have in the parts department.
If you happen to have one of these barrels, get a new build going with it, and use this gas block.

Best gas block for A2 removal
If you want to remove the factory A2 front sight, this is the block to have. Premium product that fits tight, covers the complete area the previous A2 covered. Looks factory and you can run aftermarket longer handguards of your choice.
Best Used for:
- A2 sight removal

Low profile gas block
This product is amazing. It has a very snug and tight fit on my barrel. It is very high quality and came out of the box without any scratches or chips. For the money, this gas block is absolutely worth it.

Fits perfect, light weight and well machined. I will be buying another.
Fits under the hand guard perfectly and is light weight and well machined. At first I thought it might not be as solid as a pinned mount but after installing it I can tell you it isn't going anywhere.
