Great optics mount for KelTec Sub 2K Gen2
This mount does exactly what it says it does, allows you to mount and optic to the sub 2000 Gen 2 and still be able to fold the weapon.
Holds zero well and is easy to install. Plus, Midwest Industries offers great customer service on their products.

Buyer beware
Beware, you can only use Optics with this mount that have a T-1 or T-2 mount system. It will not work with a Picatinny mount and will not work with any of the Bushnell Red Dot scopes. Took me awhile to decide which mount to buy. Didn't want the wide footprint of the other brand and didn't like the idea of having to use para-cord to secure the bolt with this MI mount. If you dislike the idea of the para-cord just don't mount it in the 4th m-loc slot (as per the instructions). I mounted it w/Romeo5 in the 2nd slot (3rd slot also works)! My Gen2 now has a thin footprint and no need to use that para-cord. BTW-Thx OP for the fast shipping. In my mailbox in 2 days.

Midwest Industries MI GEN2 SUB 2000 T1/T2 Optic Mount
The Midwest Industries mount worked perfect. The video instructions that Midwest produced gives clear instructions for the installing the mount. It comes with 2 wrenches needed and lock tight. Installation time is under twenty minutes. With a red dot scope and mount the issue a comfortable aiming position with the KelTec sub 2000 resolved. The mount also enables the rifle to be folded into a compact position. This allows the folded gun to be placed in the existing carry case.

Great mount for Kel Tec sub 2000
The mount worked fantastic, just described, the only caveat, might be the mounting on the Kel Tec sub 2000, they recommend mounting it in the fourth hole from the muzzle, mounted mine in the third hole from the muzzle, seems to be working fine so far. mount does have a little bit of movement very very slight, however, does not seem to affect the red dot or the keeping of zero. Don’t be afraid to buy it, it is very well-made, and it honestly works quite well.

As advertised
This has been a great addition to my Sub 2000. I actually mounted it a little forward so I wouldn't need to worry about the charging handle being tied off - works like a charm. Granted the Sub 2000 isn't a precision weapon but the ability to add optics to it has helped me to get tighter groupings. Absolutely would recommend this product.

Better than expeected
Looking for my Sub 2000 to mount a Sig Red Dot and this is hands down better than the M-carbo choice. A couple extra seconds to fold it out and then back in, but well worth the effort. I recommended it to my brother and son and anyone else with a Kel Tec Sub2K.

Midwest Industries Sub 2000 optic mount
I bought the Sub 2k because of it’s compactness and the Midwest Industries mount continues this theme. It is very well made, easy to deploy and simple to install. I’ve only had it a few weeks but so far am very pleased.

Not The Correct Product
This item is designed for the "Aimpoint"-type of additional optical devices. The item that I needed was for the "Picatinny"-type accessories. This item will not work for my needs, but, the company does not have the model I need in stock. Unlucky me. Attempts to locate such a device have been unproductive, even though the product is often listed as available. Always on backorder. Select your products carefully.!!!
