Best addition to the sub 2000 - Midwest Industries MI GEN2 SUB 2000 T1/T2 Optic Mount

Rob's Review of Midwest Industries MI GEN2 SUB 2000 T1/T2 Optic Mount
This is a solid mount that addresses the mounting issue with the sub 2K. The people who report issues with the mount loosening causing their sight to drift have likely not secured the M-lock properly. M-lock mounts can look properly secured, but if one or both of the retaining nuts are not aligned correctly, the mount will move and loosen over time. If that happens to you, take it off and mount it again. Mine had been solid.
The only thing I don't like is the para-cord protection for the optic. I might try mounting a red dot toward the front of the barrel so I can store the gun uncocked.
