Great handguard.

Fit was perfect. It went on easy and matched up to the rail on the upper perfectly. I would not worry about the clamping mechanism for attaching the handguard to the barrel nut. It seems to hold very tightly.

Midwest is the BEST

This is by far the best handguard money can buy! I have Midwest industries handguards on all my AR’s. This .308 handguard fit perfectly on my DPMS upper. I installed everything onto a palmetto stare armory PA10 lower and it shoots flawlessly.

Great quality!

The DPMS gen2 isn't as compatible with AR15 handguards as they make it sound. But these MI handguards and the Sampson work great. This was an easy install with the included barrel wrench and seems like a solid fit. I Loktited everything and it hasn't moved yet. Really enhances the cosmetics over the standard plastic handguard and not near as obtrusive as the one that comes on the recon model.
