I ordered the plain aluminum rail. The machining on the rail was rough. The edges weren’t dehorned so it looked all jagged and some areas were sharp. But the rail fit the 10/22 well and it looks good on the gun so I’m happy with the purchase.

perfect match

I have a stainless 10/22 takedown that I wanted to use a night optic and a day optic on and this rail matches perfectly with the gun, and allows me to go between the optics using quick release mounts. Included fasteners are high quality, unlike a lot of the cheaper alternatives.

Poor machining/QC

Extremely sharp and jagged edges around the the surface edges the meet the receiver. Could easily cut a through a tough steak. Massive difference vs Larue. I kept it assuming the replacements will be the same seeing another review with the issue. I had to use this mount due to it not having the extended rail over the barrel most designs have, which allowed me to use the Leupold VX 3x9x33 EFR and low rings on a 10/22. I had much higher expectations with my first experience from this USA company.

I rebuilt 2 older 10/22s. Works great. It gave me more scope mounting options. I bought one in stainless anb one in blue to match guns. i need more words to meet review requirements. I hope this helps.

takedown.
