Great piece of kit when running a suppressor
This is well thought out and well made. Has the added advantage of providing a good place for the support hand. Something needed with the MP5K when the vertical foregrip is not an option.
My MKE needed the adjustable yoke to align the rail. I’m glad Midwest thought of this. The rail mounts solid with no movement during firing. The specs say it weighs 7 ounces, but it feels lighter.

The handgard fit was perfect the finish was even better. It took the look to the next level. I would recommend this to everyone that's going to use a suppressor on there k mp5.

Great rail, needs a little improvement.
First, this is an awesome rail system for the MP5K variants. The only issue that I have is that there is not enough space at the bottom and sides of the rail to mount any MLOK accessories with out the screws either scratching your suppressor or just not allowing it to fit properly. I am using a Silencerco Octane 9 and can't mount anything past the front sight base without it causing an issue for mounting the suppressor.

Solid MP5 clone upgrade
Way móre rigid than the stock plastic handguard. Nice to have a more sturdy platform for a light/laser. Had to take down the surface along the bolt track with a Dremel because I have an extended/thick bolt handle but that's not gonna be a common issue and it was only like 1mm of material. Cleared my Resilient Suppressor RS9 which is like 1.7 OD.

Fantastic addition
I wanted to mount a light to my AP5P but I hate the old handguard light that is traditionally used on MP5s. I also wanted to add some manner of vertical grip. I love the way this guard allows me to add accessories further forward like a full size AP5. By shrouding my suppressor, I'm able place all the items I want, and keep the length minimal. It did take a little effort installing as the instructions are not perfect, but if you have a little mechanical knowledge, it's a breeze.

- Allows accessories without sacricing length, extremely well constructed, perfect fit

- 9 out of 10 for install ease
