Solid lock up when deployed!
I installed one on my FM15 and it works great! No movement in the stock at all when deployed and it deploys quickly. It’s a little hard to fold the stock but it helps to grab the top of the receiver and lift up on the stock to unlock it.
Hard to fold
Difficult to engage the folding mechanism. Takes work every time you need to collapse & fold.

Solid construction
I didn't realize that the end plate was also all metal. This thing is one solid stock. Highly recommend. Great for SBRs. Used it on my Ruger Charger takedown 22 pistol to SBR conversion build. Very lightweight as well.

Quality as always
I've bought a few Midwest Industries products in the past and their craftsmanship and quality has never disappointed me. This stock has proven to be the same. Rock solid lockup, and it replaced the factory folder on my Ruger LC Carbine perfectly. If I had to nit pick it, I wish it locked in the folded position, it had a little detent, but a more firm one would be nice.

High Quality
No regrets on purchasing even though I'm not sure if I'm even gonna use it! The build quality looks and feels 5�. It mounts solid, and even though the length isn't adjustable it's just right. Only criticism is you may want to add some sort of protection where where it touches when folded. Being all metal, it will wear the finish off where it makes contact. My only gripe!

Super Light and rock solid
Midwest simply makes the best rails and aluminum products out there...and all made in the USA!
The side folding stock is no exception. Super solid lock up and easy to deploy. Perfect complement to my BRN-180 rifle.
