Kyle's Review of Midwest Industries T1/T2 Red Dot Optic Mount
1. Mount completely blocks iron sight's sight picture. Does not offer lower 1/3rd co-witness. Completely renders iron sights useless. When comparing the mount to the mount which comes with the Holosun HE403 series, this mount is slightly taller, which obstructs your iron sights when you try to look through them.
2. You have to remove your rear iron sight in order to install this mount. Very annoying.
3. Finish seemed to have some blemishes.
Just avoid this mount. It will cause headaches. I rated 2 stars because the mount itself is very high quality, but it's a very high quality chunk of weight since it renders your iron sights useless. Midwest Industries usually offers high quality products. Not sure what the deal is with this product. Maybe it's an error on the product description, as it does not offer any co-witness.
