This sight is very well made. It takes a good amount of force to flip up or down so it wont unintentionally move. It is also going to hold zero very well since it has less moving parts than most back up sights. I also like the size of the aperture as well. It's great for close distances as well as longer if needed. Another great Midwest Industries product.

1. Mount completely blocks iron sight's sight picture. Does not offer lower 1/3rd co-witness. Completely renders iron sights useless. When comparing the mount to the mount which comes with the Holosun HE403 series, this mount is slightly taller, which obstructs your iron sights when you try to look through them.

2. You have to remove your rear iron sight in order to install this mount. Very annoying.

3. Finish seemed to have some blemishes.

Just avoid this mount. It will cause headaches. I rated 2 stars because the mount itself is very high quality, but it's a very high quality chunk of weight since it renders your iron sights useless. Midwest Industries usually offers high quality products. Not sure what the deal is with this product. Maybe it's an error on the product description, as it does not offer any co-witness.

This is very low profile and fits on rails very nicely. It's also made by Midwest Industries so it's very rugged. If you want a fixed front sight, this is one of the best.

It also has serrations on the front to prevent glare, which is another bonus.

First of all, I was surprised how bright this light was. Be careful not to point it at a mirror or at your eyes like I did.

This is probably the best choice of a weapon light for those who don't want to spend too much. It will get the job done and you can feel the quality in it. Would also be best for civil unrest scenarios.

I would recommend this light to anyone.
