MI URR is for pimps
This is the only correct receiver rod to loosen barrel nuts. You can split (as I have done) your receiver at the indexing pin slot or barrel nut if using a Geissele or Magpul BEV block. Works just as great for torquing as well. Highly recommended.

Sail was clocked waaay off
The sail was visibly hanging to one side. Its so tight in the barrel extension and upper, it won't fit unless the two line up just-so, yet the tool is mistimed. What a joke. I purchased the nickel version during a flash deal for the lowest price throughout the year.
I used it on an Aero Precision M4E1 threaded and Faxon 6" SS BO barrel.
The barrel to upper receiver is a slight thermal fit.
It takes heating the upper with a blow-dryer for the barrel to seat.
Not sure if the barrel extension is on the high side, or the lower bore is on the low size.
Either way the fit of the tool, is very good.
No slop but not a force fit. It lined up the pin and ramps perfectly.
I am 100% happy and satisfied with the price, shipping and the tool Optics Planet sent me.

Nice product
I already have the BEV Block, which is also a nice product. However, I wanted something a little more industrial to add to my AR toolbox. This tool gives you the option to take off the upper piece (3x screws, wrench comes with it), if need be. This tool is rated very well, and is well built. It does cost a little more than some others, however you won't be disappointed.

Midwest Industries reaction rod
Hands down the best receiver rod in the industry. Locks the receiver and and the barrel. Good Tight fit and lock up, I bought the AR10 and immediately turned around and ordered the AR15 rod. Definitely recommend.

Received product it is well built, but I had to have the keyway machined down a few thousandth due to the build of my upper receiver.

Midwest AR10 reaction rod
This is the best AR10 reaction rod available. Solid, versatile and the best thing is that the lugs are cut in such a fashion as to not scar the barrel extension. I wish I would have got one earlier.
