I needed to remove a stuborn flash hider that was rock seted on a knight upper - Midwest Industries Upper Receiver Rod

I researched this on the internet first and saw some peeps doing this with out the aid of a torq transfer rod big mistake you can wrek your upper. So I shoped around and found many on the market ranging from $30 to $120 for Ar-15 lugs. I desided on the midwest IND. It had good reviews and didnt seam over priced Op was by far the cheepest. When it arrived I clamped it in the vise slid the upper on tapped it with a rubber mallet to seat the lug teeth and I was ready to torq off the flash hider bingo so eazy right tool for the job it easly defeeted the rockset and held my upper firmly in place. This is a must have tool. I will be purchasing the AR-10 version next.
