Excellent tool for the job - Midwest Industries Upper Receiver Rod

I recently did a barrel swap on my stag-15 and had to borrow a geissele reaction rod from a friend of mine. I liked the way it worked so figured I would get my own. I read several reviews on many different reaction rods and kind of liked the idea of the spine on the MI reaction rod, and also I found it on sale at Optics Planet so I really couldn’t pass it up. Once I received the MI URR I just had to try it out so I removed the barrel again from my stag-15 and reinstalled it. I can’t say anything bad about the Geissele reaction rod because it worked just fine, but I feel like the MI URR held the upper more stable by having the spine on it.
