This is the best investment if you build AR-15’s. By far the best tool to act as an upper vise / Receiver rod. Can be used for barrel nut torque and also for muzzle brake installation and/or removal. Much better option than a barrel vise or upper vise when removing or installing muzzle brake because it stabilizes the barrel and does not result in any torque being applied to the barrel nut or upper. The fin portion does have to be unscrewed if the gas block and gas tube is already installed, but it is very easy - just 3 screws. It also is better than an upper vise because there is not risk of it scratching or blemishing the upper.
