Nathan's Review of Midwest Industries Upper Receiver Rod

This action bar is built solid!! It fit great in my upper receiver and barrel. Held everything secure and tight as I installed the barrel nut and muzzle brake!! It is definitely worth the extra cost over a pin style upper receiver mount.
Pros:
  • Well build, with solid construction. Cost was reasonable at $100. Takes all the force off the lineup pin.
Cons:
  • None that I can tell.
Best Used for:
  • Installing different barrels on ar15 upper receiver. Installing muzzle devices.
