I installed this on my Henry X Model .38/.357. I wanted some extra ammo storage and a versatile site mounting solution. This worked perfectly. Installation was simple with the correct screwdriver bits.
This proved particularly versatile, as even with a scope mounted with Warne steel rings, the factory fiber optic iron sights of are visible through the groove down the center of the picatinny rail.
The cartridge holders are nice and flexible, accommodating the vast majority of lever action rifle cartridges you may own.
